On August 15, 2025, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) transitioned the WHO-GMP Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product (COPP) process to a fully digital format. Pharmaceutical manufacturers are now strictly required to apply through the Online National Drugs Licensing System (ONDLS) portal, completely phasing out physical applications.
